From 15 of July to 30 of August, our Start-up Kindergarten Karlín is open to the public – children from 4 to 7 years old. You can sign up for this whole period or for individual weeks.
Children can expect a rich all-day programme from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. We also have a morning option and a shortened week.
Summer is also an ideal adjustment period for new children joining us from September.
What will we experience this year? Moving and playing outdoors, learning about plants, trees and animals. We will make bows, arrows, spears, tomahawks and knives for hunting bison.
We will build a big teepee, do an Indian council around the campfire, and set rules for our tribe. We will give a name to our tribe and to all Indians. We will also learn to be agile, alert, perceptive and courageous as Indians. Summer hikes and backcountry expeditions, a real campfire and an outdoor courage trail are a part of this programme as well..
Indian culture will also enrich all our clubs. We will drum, sing Indian songs and dance around the fire. We will learn English to communicate with the cowboys. We will make feather headdresses and beaded bracelets, and paint our tribe, our village, and the prairie. We’ll even do Indian gymnastics and yoga. Our aim is to learn through experience and play.
The prices are for 1 week of summer school.
